As part of our commitment to celebrating excellence in citizenship education, the Annual Award Ceremony will become a highlight of the school year. This national event will recognize schools that demonstrate outstanding leadership, creativity and dedication in fostering active citizenship among their students.
Hosted under the patronage of the First Lady of Lebanon, the ceremony will bring together schools, educators, students, public officials, and community partners in a shared moment of pride and recognition.
Awards will be based on the results of the Citizenship Education Index, which evaluates schools’ performance across the four educational pillars:
Winning schools will be those that most effectively integrate the four pillars into their practices, through innovative initiatives, impactful community projects, and tangible progress in building a culture of participation and responsibility.
Beyond celebrating achievements, the ceremony will serve as a national platform for inspiration and knowledge-sharing. By showcasing success stories and best practices, it will motivate other schools to strengthen their work on the Index and foster a spirit of constructive competition that drives continuous improvement year after year.
